Precision Resources, A division of the Trimarc Group Inc., is currently searching for a mid-to senior-levelSoftware Performance Tester for an opportunity with one of our clients located in Birmingham, AL.

Our client is looking for a strong leader with experience in defining and implementing performance testing standards and processes. Qualified individuals must have experience using performance-testing tools such as LoadRunner, QA Load, Rational Performance Tester, etc.

JOB SUMMARY:
Thorough understanding of Performance/Load/Volume test concepts. Strong knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA process, and software release cycle. Experience to include a minimum of 4 years developing and executing Performance/Load/Volume/Stress tests of web applications with test automation tools (ie HP LoadRunner, Rational Performance Tester, Micro Focus Silk Performer). Knowledge of SQL. Experience with creating and executing automated test scripts using test automation tools. Strong knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking. Ability to test applications independently and with a team while reporting testing metrics and results. Ability to analyze requirements, user stories, and design documents, deriving and associating test cases and test suites. Ability to apply appropriate test methodologies including writing test plans, test cases, and manual test scripts. Experience developing test data and virtual user loads based on analysis of requirements and business volume metrics. Mentor team members on test automation best practices and tools.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years of testing experience with 4+ years experience focused on Software Performance and/or Load testing. Experience developing and executing security tests on web applications. Experience developing and executing database tests. Experience with LoadRunner. QA Load experience is a plus.
